Eel River brings us an Old Ale on steroids… Eel River Organic Triple Exultation. IBUs of nearly 100 bring out the pucker in you and 9.7% ABV bring out the lush.
This bad boy pours a dark copper color with a short head. Nose is sweet, malty, and hoppy all at the same time. Body is true to its form pucker-tastic. Sour hits from the middle of the tongue and on back, leaving you with a feeling that it stuck its claws out and tried to slow down its descent. Finish is nice and smooth, though, with only a hint of the sour beast that just eased down your throat.
Overall a unique and solid ale that appeals to your hoppy side for sure.
